Picture this: You’ve made it as an entrepreneur, and you can finally afford a bit of the “good life”. You take the extra vacation, buy the boat, build the dream home.
Then you decide it’s time to sell, so you get a business valuation.
To your surprise and disbelief, you find the value is a fraction of what you thought. Guess what? You are in a similar situation with 70%-80% of all other business owners.
I specialize in helping owners increase the value of their businesses. I’ve watched them experience the shock when they discover that no one else thinks their baby is as attractive as they do.

Survey Results: What I Asked, How You Answered.
As you may know, I recently conducted a survey with readers. The response and feedback were great. Better than I expected. Thank you!
Here is what you said:
Question 1: Would you be interested in more, new content from me through Instagram, a podcast, YouTube or other? (Choose all that apply)
- Podcast 50%
- YouTube 35%
- Instagram 23%
- Other 25% (Almost all of these asked me to continue to send via e-mail. Some mentioned LinkedIn or Facebook)
Question 2: Do you prefer in-depth & detailed content / short “quick hits” that answer specific questions / both – depending on the content.

Question 3: Considering your primary desires, questions or challenges as a leader, how would you fill in the blank, “How do I _______________?”
There was a very, very wide range of responses. Here were the dominant themes:
- How do I manage time/priorities?
- How do I lead/organize/align a team?
- How do I motivate a team/employees?
- How do I lead change (culture, leadership transition, etc.)?
- How do I maintain health boundaries (work/life, competing demands, etc.)?
There were many other responses as well. I plan to work through the list and answer all of them. So be sure to stay tuned and check out the new ways I’ll bring content to you.

I’m not giving up the weekly e-mails! That was never the plan. And a lot of people asked me not to. So don’t worry about that.

Many of you mentioned that you prefer the longer, more in-depth e-mails, but also liked the idea of a short introduction so you can quickly tell if the topic is of interest to you. I used to do that and can go back to it.
I am starting a podcast! The Leadership Lab with Christian Muntean. I just started working on this a couple of weeks ago. It is reassuring that this option is a popular one! The first two episodes have been recorded and banked. I’ll build up a little inventory before I publish. Stay tuned, I’ll let you know how to find it and how to subscribe shortly.
Podcasting is new for me and I’ll be experimenting with the length and formats that seem best. Would love your feedback!
YouTube and Instagram: I will probably publish here as well. This will likely happen after the podcast is launched. There is just a lot more involved with video.
These formats are, I believe, well suited for “quick hit” content that quickly answers specific leadership questions. Additionally, I might start a second newsletter that is only “quick hit” content based on the content published on YouTube and/or Instagram so that you can either watch or read this content.
