Getting Your People to Do What They’re Asked…
In my last article, I shared 12 key traits to build a Dream Team. But something surprised me…
You see, I was speaking with several clients recently who essentially all told me “Christian, I don’t think about building a dream team, I just want my team and leaders to treat others with respect and work well together. I want to be able to rely on them when I’m gone.”
I heard from many of them that what they really want is to have their people “meet their expectations and step into the leadership role they were hired for.”
So, while I shared tips on creating a dream team what I’ve been learning from my clients is what’s most important for them now. Things like:
- Treating employees well
- Working as a solid team
- Relating to conflict well
- Following through
Some of the biggest breakthroughs my clients see are when we sit down and talk through their current situation. We then almost always find specific steps they can take to accomplish the results they are looking for.
